Thomas Jackson is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and co-owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nutshell Realty. He has been a licensed real estate professional since 1994 and considers ethical standards, competence and compassion to be the most valued attributes of a successful broker. Company management duties are shared with co-owner Tim Sweeney, who founded Nutshell Realty, Inc. with Tom in 2002.
Tom is also currently employed by the County of Ulster as Director of Real Property. Based on his experience as a Licensed Land Surveyor, having spent 14 years as the managing partner of a local surveying firm, he brings to our company an extensive knowledge of property. He loves helping clients to understand the importance and value that the attributes of land bring to any real estate transaction.
Tom’s professional background includes many years of experience in municipal planning and government, including 10 years as Supervisor of the Town of Marbletown. He also served on the town Zoning Board of Appeals, Community Development Committee and Zoning Advisory Committee.
Tom’s daughter, Anna Barcone is a Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker and serves our company as Office Manager. Anna and Tom have joined forces to work for their mutual clients as an effective team, bringing over 34 years of collective experience in providing real estate services.
